A stamp club is a community of stamp enthusiasts who come together to share, trade, and discuss their collections. It's a great place to learn about the history and value of stamps, meet fellow collectors, and participate in club activities.
Joining the NASC stamp club is easy! Simply fill out the membership application form under the "Join" link on the navigation bar under "Forms".
Not at all! Our club welcomes collectors of all levels, from beginners to seasoned philatelists. We offer workshops and mentorship to help you expand your knowledge and grow your collection.
Yes! Members are welcome to buy, sell and trade stamps before our meetings. We also host periodic auctions where members can offer their stamps for sale. If you are planning to sell you stamps, you must become a club member. Members who sell via auction use the Universal Auction Sheet. Just click on the "Auction Sheet" link below and then click on the printer icon.
Bring any stamps you'd like to trade or sell, and a notepad for taking notes. You might also want to bring a magnifying glass, and stamp tongs
Only members of NASC may check out library materials. No card is needed, just contact either a board member or an officer and they will provide you with access to the library. There is no time limit set on checked out materials, however, we ask that you not keep the materials too long so that other members may have access to the materials too.
Yes, a number of our members are also members of other clubs. Each stamp club offers unique benefits and we encourage members of multiple clubs to share their experiences for the benefit of all.
Yes , we can accept donations however, we cannot provide a tax receipt.
The NASC has no members who are cetified stamp appraisers. The club has members who are willing to give an apprisal based on their knowldge of stamp collecting. Any opinion they may provide is not done under the authority of the NASC. If you would like the opinion of an individual member, contact Rich Weichle and he will attempt to connect you with a member with knowledge about the type of material in your collection.
