Because our club operates in a small space, we take care to place donated material where it can be stored properly and put to meaningful use. Rather than simply accepting or declining items, we work with donors to find the best home for each part of a collection.
Thoughtful Placement: We look at each collection with you to identify the portions that best fit our space and support our educational mission.
First Day Covers (FDCs): We especially value FDCs with historical, educational, or local significance, and we welcome the chance to review them together.
Shared Decision-Making: If a collection is large, we collaborate with you to determine which parts can be used by the club and discuss options for the remainder — ensuring nothing feels like “leftovers.”
Uncompensated Donations: As a volunteer-run club, we are unable to purchase collections.
No Tax Forms: We are not a registered nonprofit, so we cannot provide tax documentation.
